Overview

The inception of the Fatimiyah School of Nursing dates back to 2010 when it commenced its in-house nurse aide training program. In 2015, the school expanded its offerings to include a two-year diploma program for licensed practical nurses. By 2018, the nomenclature was updated to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

The institution holds recognition from the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and is affiliated with the Sindh Nurses Examination Board (SNEB) for the two-year LPN/CNA program.

The School admitted first batch of students in the year 2015 who passed their training and secured 1^st 2^nd & 3^rd Position with 100% result in Sindh Nurses Examination Board & became LPN/CNA Nurse with diploma in 2017.

The students are also allowed Extracurricular activities as these are also part of their educational Programme by holding Lamp Lighting Ceremony, picnics, pharmaceutical companies, other institutes for on the spot knowledge, learning, medical camps, in house functions like celebrating international Nursing Day, Eid-e-Milad, Eid Milan etc.

Community Outreach: Actively engage with local communities to address their healthcare needs, promote health literacy, & contribute to the overall well-being of the population.

Aims

Fatimiyah Faculty of Nursing aims to prepare nurses with advance knowledge, skill and attitude needed to practice efficient & skillful nursing at national & international level. hence upon graduation, students are able to demonstrate responsibility and accountability to the nursing profession by:

Utilizing effective critical thinking & problem solving skills in caring for the individuals, families & communities.
Integrate Scholarly skills & the use of scientific methods in critiquing and applying existing nursing theories & research finding in selected practice settings.
Applying effective verbal & written communications in interpersonal & professional interactions with peers, patients, families and other professionals.
Demonstrating a high degree of competence in the use of available resources to support the identified needs of individuals, families, and communities.
